Good for gas welding and brazing!
Nice sturdy construction. The "nose" piece is an adjustable chain so that the user can get a nice fit across the face! The screw-down caps which hold the lenses in place appear to be study enough that they won't break if the goggles are dropped. (Of course the glass would break if dropped too hard). Glass darkness is properly suited for gas welding, but not dark enough for arc welding. One would have to replace the lenses to a #10 for that!Nice sturdy construction.
