An inexpensive way to create a "hotline" between friends or family using VoIP, two OBi devices, and old analog phones. OBiTALK network is good quality and very reliable. This end-of-life device does not work with Google Voice, but there are other service providers that do support it, assuming you need to call into the normal (POTS) phone system.

This little beast is no longer manufactured and one of the few consumer devices that accept a 'phone line' in. Working with my asterisk PBX this little guy allowed me to keep my centurylink hard line... Not even sure thats a good thing but old habits die hard

I can't honestly say anything about this product. I followed the steps, registered it, made sure it was listed on my modem etc. I get a message saying that it needs updating but it won't update it says I need a newer model. So I can call and get the recording but cannot use it to place a call.

Works great with FreePBX. I'm running RasPBX on a Raspberry Pi. I have made several calls from my IP Phones through the Obihai OBi110 to the POTS line.
