    Good affordable clamp but not for all lights

    Overall I am satisfied with these clamps but they only work with half of my lights. The smaller round and hexagon lights that have a band across the back for attaching the clamp work great, but the long bar style lights that have "feet" do not work without modification. I have the tools to drill a second hole to make them work (the bolt that tightens on to the pipe hits the foot of the bar lights) so they will be fine for me, but if you have bar lights (I have 20 inch ADJ MegaBars and 46 inch Monoprice lights) and don't want to modify the clamps, this is not the right design.

    Lightweight, adequate for light units.

    These are a stamped steel clamp, essentially a bent 'U' channel, and would not handle much of a load, HOWEVER, within their load rating they are a fine clamp and very reasonably priced.
