- This is a Triangle Books edition. The book is in Very Good+, condition and has a Very Good- dust jacket. The book and its, contents are in generally clean, bright condition. There is a, slight slant to the spine of the book and some beginning, bumping and rubbing to the spine ends and corners of the book, covers. The text pages are generally clean but have noticeable, generalized toning. The dust jacket has several smallish edge, tears, nicks and small chips missing (especially the top spine, end). " Her (Hancock's) first novel, Gay Pretending, was, published in 1936, when Hancock was 60 years old. From that, point on, Hancock published around 1 novel each year, all in, hardcover, and mostly with nursing-related themes. The dust, jacket cover art for these editions is pretty great, and makes, the subject nurses look like go-getters who are also quietly, glamorous, such as this Triangle edition of Pat Whitney, R.
