The other 2 not only had sealed boxes but were “actually new”…. The Escort arrived with a wing mirror broken off, the screws that hold the car on were different sizes (meaning the car never sat right on plinth), also the box wasn’t sealed shut (like the other MCG cars) which isn’t a surprise considering the cars condition. Used model, worth about £30 yet I was charged £79 for this, NEVER AGAIN!!!Reply from: the-corner-shop- Feedback replied by seller the-corner-shop.- Feedback replied by seller the-corner-shop.The item was 100% brand new & taken from a factory sealed case of 6. It was opened only to place an easily removable strap around car & base to protect it from rough handling during shipping. The base screws are exactly as they came from the factory, so the only real issue is that a door mirror fell off during transit which is unfortunate, but does happen occasionally. As my 22,500+ positive feedback score shows, I will always happily resolve any issues if I'm contacted BEFORE feedback is left.
