    Thank goodness for free returns, which ultimately salvaged this purchase. The item did not match description at all - listed as silk, but actually polyester, several runs that were undisclosed, and a spot where an embellishment had been chopped off leaving behind a frayed end. While shipping was prompt and cleanly packaged and the return was easy, it was an unanticipated hassle to get such a disappointing item and have to deal with it.

    Processor came in good packaging, no bent pins, and the adhesive was not a problem to remove and put thermal paste onto the heat spreader. I would definitely buy again! In fact, I need to.

    Great performance upgrade for older laptops

    Great processor and excellent upgrade for many HP and Dell laptops. Dont forget to use high performance CPU paste like X4 or Artic Silver 5 as these processors will run very warm in laptop applications.

    The CPU works fine in Lenovo Z510! I replaced the old i3 4000M with it - the difference is huge) Only you need to update the BIOS after installing a new CPU, otherwise the processor frequency will be kept at around 0.78 GHz.
