  • Face Painting Book by Editors of Klutz

I liked this book, but it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. I have a newer Klutz book on face painting that is awesome and this one was a little disappointing in comparison. It is an excellent source for a mom who wants to get it for her kids to play with. It didn't give me a lot of new ideas like I had hoped it would. Examples were more on the lines of kids face painting other kids.

  • Excellent for beginners!

Asked to do face painting for the elementary school's yearly carnival, I wasn't sure where to start. By chance I happened upon this book, and since then I've had great success at the face painting booth! Many designs from a complex dragon that spans the face, to your more typical "flower on the cheek" designs. The pictures are excellent and colorful, and the paints lasted me quite some time.

  • not a good way to learn

this book contains no usable instructions. the pictures are dated and with out any lessons on how to.

  • Face paints missing the paints

The paints were cut off the bottom of the book. Incomplete and worthless. Not how it was advertised.

  • Excellent book. Explains in simple terms how to.

I really love this book because I am new at face painting and I am not an artist. This book explains in simple terms, so I can understand, the how to. The book has pictures with full how to instructions. Easy to use. I recommend to anyone who wants to face paint.
