I was disappointed to see Garmin discontinue the mini 2 for the mini 3… essentially the exact same camera but Garmin asking 140$ for the mini 3. BUY THE MINI 2 and save yourself at least 40$! Upon receiving my refurbished mini 2 through GPS-CITY, I’m happy to report that the camera is in brand new condition, not a hint of any use. All cables, mounting pieces and literature came with it. NO WORRIES

Only thing is the phone app connection is bit a hiccup like the last one. I figured just disconnect the power to the dash cam and try a couple more times til it works. For what it worth, it might help to do the installation process at a location where your phone have good access to the internet connection through cellular/wifi in case the device need connection for minor software update during the installation.
