    Neat but so for not very accurate....

    I used this from the first day I received it. I followed the directions exactly. I was about 4 days away from my predicted fertile window [based on past cycles and Fertility Friend charting] so thought this would be helpful to see it progress and turn positive. It worked perfectly up until I actually confirmed ovulation [using opks and temping]. It was still showing partial ferning and never went to full ferning. I would recommend this in conjunction with other ovulation detecting items.

    Good for TTC

    I was hoping this tool would be more helpful than OPKs (ovulation strips), but it gave me conflicting results when compared to the strips. Possibly the microscope is more reliable but I will have to track with it a few cycles before I can be sure. I’ve only used the tool twice this cycle and I’m still getting used to it, so perhaps when I get used to it I will be more comfortable reading the results. The results can be difficult to read. Also I will add that this tool is more eco friendly than the strips which is one of the main reasons I wanted to try it out.

    Handy little product!!!

    I used it for breeding Bulldogs. Thus far, the results seemed to align correctly with the cycles and behavioral signs. It also gave insight to some ovulation dates earlier then I would have started breeding so I would say it is a useful tool. The strong crystallization only appears for one day so I'd recommend checking every day to be more precise......and start early in the cycle, no later than 4-5 days, because positive results precede optimum fertilization time by roughly 3 days. That way you cover an early ovulation. Good luck!
