Hits hard for a 10inch
I had a 15inch prior to this & let me tell you, this thing performed just as if not better than that Sony Xplod 1300w I had. Best choice I made was choosing the size. It doesn't take up the space in the trunk either. I'd recommend this to anyone that wants to have good sound and not have a huge be speaker in the trunk.

Scar Audio 10" SDR in box
I think this is a very good setup, for the price especially. If you're looking to add a little bass to your ride, this will surprise you. Seems to take most of the 1600 watt Audiopipe i have hooked to it. I think if you get everything adjusted right and leave it alone this would last a long time. I, being the bass head i am, will mostlikely damage this speaker from pushing it too hard for too long of a period of time. I've had many systems over the years and am quite familiar with a variety of subs and amps. I would rather have these subs than JL Audio W3 not only because a JL W3 sub only would cost more than this combo. I also believe that this Scar Series SDR woofer would last longer and produce more sound for longer than JL w3 - w0 for a fraction of the cost. I am a fan of ... Great sound, Quality appearance
Still breaking in but sounds great with 500 watt RMS (1000 peak) Polk audio amp in my small trunk. Box feels and looks quality, sub also. Carpeting was done nicely, unlike some reviews say. Like anything depends on the worker most likely. Totally happy with mine in every respect, money well spent. Only downside is no speaker grill, and it sounds better pointing to the rear. Best bang for your buck.
I bought this sdr-10 along with the rp-800 amp and it’s probably one of the better single 10” sub setup I’ve owned. Hits harder than single 12” a friend has in his car. If you’re on a budget and want some thump in your trunk. I highly recommend this setup. For the sub/box, amp, install kit and line converter, it right at $300.
