Got my 12ft Speedmaster rod and finally tried it out today. Gotta admit it throws pretty sweet. Throwing a 6oz sinker in the field across the street, I could dump a little over half a spool of an Akios 656 with 50lb braid on it. And that's not leaning on it too hard. The handle is a little longer than advertised but I think it will work out when I get to the beach.
