Will still give positive feedback, but item is advertised as UHD friendly when it is not so out of the box. In fact it must have the version 1.03 firmware downgraded to 1.00 (DVDFab has such a utility, but there are others) in order to actually be UHD friendly. Perhaps the seller simply implies the drive firmware CAN be downgraded to make it UHD friendly. Therefore some points off on description and seller communication.
