    Perfection

    Even though the Sony 1000m3 gets all the attention when it comes to noise cancellation, IMHO it’s ugly as sin. The B&O H9i offers very good noise cancellation, and uncoloured natural sound. Between the two, the H9i sounds more authentic to the recording. And the looks, well no contest. The H9i are simply gorgeous. Some fun things about the H9i - expensive quality impression - ergonomic external user interface for all functions - playback stops when removed from head, and resumes when returned - replaceable battery - beautiful fit and finish - 18-21hrs is Playback - there is an external 3.5mm jack to keep listening if the battery is dead - ANC works great, good enough for most situations - balances natural sound - phone app to tweak the sound profile for your preferences, if needed - ...

    Flawed software, proximity sensor that does not work

    Proximity sensor does not work, had to turn it off. Software does not allow any changes except for the play and volume controls. Does not even allow to turn the Active Noise Cancelling or the proximity sensor on or off. More comfortable than the Bowers and Wilkins PX but not quite as comfortable as the Bose Quietcomfort.

    Great Sound - Controls not Easy to Use.

    I am a major fan of Bang and Olufsen and Bose, too. I already have the Bose 35 ll and thought I’d try these. I love the sound, a bit more rich on the bass but equally clear and lush like the Bose. My issue - I don’t find these to be user friendly. They connect to devices easily but the touch controls on the right ear cup are a major nuisance. Finger swiping up, down, around, side to side is not concise for controlling the music. It’s too aggravating. As a result, I find myself using the Bose more frequently. I think the B&O is a poor design but the sound is great. I’d also stay away from the white ear cups - difficult to keep clean - from makeup, hair colour, etc.

    Great quality headphones

    Though these have less intense noise cancellation than Bose or Sony headphones they definitely don’t have a pressurized feeling when wearing them. The leather is cushy and comfortable and the controls are easy to learn and get the hang of.

    Simply Perfect.

    Had a H8 before this. B&O gave the H9 model a slight tweak and now it’s Best Wireless Headphone I have ever owned. Comfortable (you need to position it well tho) and powerpacked, it’s best in its class. Period.
