I love the new features like playing instruments, and the ability to use different outfits for Ulala. I was not pleased with some of the words used in this game verse the first one, nor was I happy about the inability to understand all of the commands some of the characters gave (that had to copied correctly). I purchased this game after my husband told me that I would like it; and I did!!! I would buy this game for a friend who is into music, dance, and video games. ^_^
Came in as described well packaged. Very pleased with my order, now I can enjoy this awesome game with joy :)

Well There are many stories about this game. The flat fact is that you can purchase SC5 1+2 for the PS2 and run it in ex-HD on an more then decent computer. It is really cheaper and more then purchasing the original Dreamcast game as well. The game is basically "Simons Says ++". where you have up, down, right, left, plus shoo ( when you shoot ), hey ( to rescue an captive ). The biggest issue is not having an more then decent controller for this game, as any slight incorrect input will subtract points and results in an "Cancellation/game-over". Now with both games at your disposal you can go back and forth between stories, and gameplay. Parts of the game that was originally pre-rendered are now fully rendered with slightly lower-rez graphics. However this does not stop you from enjoy the overall experience. CHALLENGE: Can you play this game with an DDR over-sized controller. Note the game requires an ADULT SIZED DDR over-sized controller with all the included buttons. As many Dance mats do not have the required buttons to play this game. Another cheaper option is to use the Gamecube dance mat, via an adapter. Of course I am talking about the needed buttons. Can you keep up with all of the heys and shoos while moving fast enough with your legs. I really wish an Space Channel 3 would already release. This game brings us back to happier times of the 1990's, and reminds us to enjoy life even if our hair is made out of bubblegum. Also if you like panty shoots, and dress up dolls there are plenty of them to see via Ohlala's outfits and costumes. But is more or less swim suit gere. Only thing that could make this better if you could adjust her age or have sliders. I would compare this game with "Nights into Dreams", "Blasto", "Bust A groove" as well as "Burning Rangers". The game is one step away from being an better "DDR". Another over all theme of this game has to do with "Austin Powers" as this game among many things had an influence from the series. To sum up my entire experience, it is like one big MTV, or school/college project music video. It is amazing, and jaw dropping because you could probably play this entire game with your eyes shut, but you do not want to miss any of the action that is on going. Also do not think it is impossible when the game actually makes everything possible. you will be jumping to the beat while you attempt to keep up and pay attention. There are plenty of gags this game also throws at you. Great game to play with family members of all age groups. You will not regret picking this game up. Back when the only popular games was whatever RPG or an MetalGear-Solid clone, this game was ignored. As with many Dreamcast games there was not enough players or even advertisements compared to the PS2. You will not be dissapointed. The game also features an mini-game mode, if your not into the story mode.Read full review
I first played this game on Dreamcast, (which, I have to say, has smother graphics than the playstation 2, not only on this game but on everything I compared.) I was looking for a game that my daughter could play, with no violence (compared to what its available now), and that could help in some way her coordination and memory, that is when I remembered this game !!. You go through several difficulty stages repeating dance moves that aliens make, meaning you have to repeat same movements with same timing with music rhythm. (remember SImon by Milton Bradley ?) same concept, harder and with rhythm, so you cant pause if you forget what move comes next.!, if you get all moves right you save humans form a "hypnotic dance trance"and they follow you to save more humans. Its been 1 year since she started playing, she has finished both games (Space channel part 1 and part 2), and believe it or not she still finds secret costumes, or secret accessories !, she has become a big Ulala (main character's name)fan. If you are looking for a very, very different game, with an increasing level of difficulty, and good replay value, get it.Read full review
