You Can't Beat an Otterbox for Pone Protection!!
You can't beat an Otterbox for phone protection. Although I don't go out of my way to drop my phones, I have accidently done so on occasion and both the phone and case have come through without damage. Almost perfect
The case is wonderfully slim yet sturdy and provides a good grip. I like that the slightly raised front bevel would protect the screen were I to drop the phone face down. Two drawbacks, though, prevent me from giving this otherwise-excellent case five stars: First, there is oddly no cutout for the SIM card/micro SD card slot. If I ever have to access it, I'd have to remove the case — which, based on past experience, practically requires the assistance of the Army Corps of Engineers. :) Second, the cutout for the headphone jack (yay, the A42 5G has one!) is so precise that it blocks the full insertion of my headphone. I've had to purchase an extender for my headphone plug, which is an inexpensive, if awkward, solution. Thing is, this problem could have been prevented had Otterbox made the cutout at this spot almost imperceptibly bigger so as to allow the plug to reach the jack without the need of an extender.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
