The Unplugged series of CDs has been a joy to own and play in the multidisc changer, on Random. Neil Youngs' example did not seem to connect with the audience in a magical way like Rod Stewarts & Eric Claptons - to name a few. However, a must-have so Do It !

How I got Young
I've been slow to catch on to what all the fuss is with Neil Young. I always thought if the actor Bruce Dern could sing, he would sound like Neil Young. Nevertheless some things are like learning to drink coffee, or learning to make a decent pie pastry, you have to keep trying. I listened to some of his rocking Crazy Horse CDs and still didn't get it. Sometimes as a way to explore, I pick up a pile of used 50-cent cassette tapes and look for the gem in the lot that is worthy in purchase as a CD. In one of these piles I found Neil Young Unplugged. This is the album that made me get Young. Like most Unplugged CDs, this one is a great collection of some of the artist s best work and it is live acoustic. I bought two of these CDs on ebay, also one for a friend who was a Young fan from way back.

perfect in every way. played and sounds great. a+

Great CD from a Great Artist, Value Plus!
I have been a fan of his for many years and have several of his LPs. Yes, LPs!! This is a great addition to my collection. Neil Young is at his finest on this unplugged CD. Redoing many of the favorite songs that he has done throughout his career. A must for any fan, even if your are one of the MTV Unplugged Series. Highly and easily recommened.

Mr Soul..A Buffalo Springfield song, which Neil was a member of 3. World on a string 4. pocahontas..very haunting song..5. stringman 6. like a hurricane, (theres calm in your eyes) 7. the needle and the damage done...a classic Neil young song 8. helpless A tune originally with csn&y 9. harvest moon 10 transformer man 11. unknown legend 12 look out for my love 13. long may you run..my favorite 14. from hank to hendrix..
