Don't forget about the Thermostat control
It first, I thought it was not working then I remembered that it was thermostat controlled. I had tested it in a 70 degree house, no heat. Took it outside and when the temperature dropped to 35 & below, it got hot!

Cover her bottoms
What I like best about this unit is the enclosed bottom. Crud was always working it's way under my last heater base and I would worry about shorting out or ignition of shavings. This base heater works at temps as low as 0°f so far. The cord is heavy duty too though shorter than my last one but I was able to adjust placement to accommodate.
