    Great value for a future install

    I purchased this for my HP350G1 laptop that did not come with an optical drive, but the laptop does not have the cable and connector installed in the drive bay. I have ordered the cable from HP, but I am waiting until the 1 year warranty expires in December to install the cable and connector in the drive bay. It requires taking the laptop apart to install and would void the warranty.
