I have a space on concrete under a steel and glass table. When done with starter and cord, spread out, wire brush grill and your ready to GO ...around 10+ Min. total. NO starter fluid fumes and I barbecue a lot, will get more then a years use if not over heated by HOT briquettes. Great product wish more people used a electric starter
