    Straightforward system performance upgrade

    This is my second purchase from these guys and, as was the first, resulted in a relatively easy way to squeeze more performance out of an existing system at a reasonable price. Both systems were AMD chip upgrades, and both went from a dual-core to a quad core CPU as a simple processor swap-out. A whole lot easier than replacing the motherboard, migrating the OS, installing any new drivers required, etc.

    Not sufficiently tested

    Item description says some cosmetic issues but "tested working well". This cannot be true: just getting to the Windows loading icon took minutes when I installed this thing. It eventually loaded Windows, but then kept failing every few minutes, crashing the system. My existing CPU works fine, as does my existing fan, and they both load Windows much more quickly, therefore I am certain this is not a heat issue: somebody failed to detect a flaw that was in the chip before it was packed for shipping.

    great processor

    its better for quicker response time, but every time i go to overclock the processor it either freezes or crashes my system. other than the overclock issue its a great processor.
