    Fuel Valve Petcock Repair Kit Saves Replacing the Entire Fuel Valve Petcock

    This is a K&L Fuel Valve Petcock Repair Kit for certain motorcycle fuel valve petcocks, including the Honda ST1100, that can fail when the rubber diaphragm inside the fuel valve petcock develops a tear resulting in loss of vacuum. Honda only has available a complete replacement fuel valve petcock (expensive), not a replacement diaphragm. This repair kit allows you to replace the torn diaphragm rather than replace the entire fuel valve petcock. Internet research revealed the K&L brand is recommended due to its high quality. The new diaphragm feels stronger than the original diaphragm and I anticipate it should last indefinitely.

    Petcock rebuild kit

    Honda did not sell a rebuild kit. They get $181.00 for a new fuel petcock. The large diaphragm was torn along the radius. Need a lot of choke to start it. Bike runs fantastic now that I have replaced the diaphragm with this rebuild kit.
