Remote works as intended. The caddy, to hold the remote, was also included (nice). Note: To "pair" the remote to the ceiling fan, I found I had to "quick press and release" the button, and not "press and hold". Price is higher than I would have expected, but it is high priced everywhere. Bottomline: Recommended.
