Tip: use the manual tuning on your head unit to find dead air and program it to that station. This little guy doesn't have the power to out-broadcast even most of the 'close-to-the-station' spots what a are a number or two higher or lower. It's worth the money thou. GREAT value of you are good with radios and know a good amount about local stations and their broadcasting power. I might look into a coax switch that lets me 'turn my antenna off' or use a powered antenna and switch it off if I have no other choice bu to use this, but I only use it in old cars with original stereos, or if I want to mess with people who have a station I know on. You must have a silent or blank station for it to work
This requires a station with completely no interference to work. That doesn't exist in urban areas. Furthermore when the car is traveling the static and noises will change and get worse as the signal changes. Terrible product and idea.
