Tiger Woods and the PGA Tour continue their exclusive relationship with EA SPORTS for a fifth game in the best-selling professional golf series. Fourteen courses are available in this version, six of which are based on authentic venues in Pebble Beach, Sawgrass, the Royal Birkdale Golf Club, Princeville, Torrey Pines, Poppy Hills, Spyglass Hill, and Scottsdale. Players will be able to compete as or against 17 PGA Tour athletes, including Ty Tryon, Brad Faxon, Vijay Singh, Mark Calcavechhia, and more.<br><br>In addition to the pros, players can select one of nine original characters created specifically for this version, or one of seven returning characters from Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2002. The game once again employs the Total Precision Swing system for analog club movement, and the broadcasting duo of David Feherty and Bill Macatee handle the commentary during competition. Top performances during a round can earn players Trophy Balls for achieving certain milestones in drives, chip-ins, and putts.<br><br>New modes of play include the SkillZone, which involves competing in a series of mini-games for points after first purchasing a bucket of balls. Players can also attempt to finish one of 18 new scenarios taking place in specific situations on the links. Speed Golf returns from the previous game, allowing two players to race through a series of holes on a split screen, and a new Create-a-Course feature allows would-be golf designers to assemble their dream course by picking and choosing from any of the available holes.

Hard to setup
The game is fun and the disc came in perfect but the amount of setting up it takes to even run this game, nah Tiger woods 02-08 pc ports through virtual machine is absolutely ridiculous.

Great game, lots of challenges
I had a copy of this game that stopped functioning. So I purchased another to replace it. Our family has played this version for years and we have had some great contests to get the best scores. Was glad to find a 2003 version so we did not have to learn how to use a new version.

Golf Anyone?
This is a good golf game. I like it because in the game you can create your own character and work your way up to Master level. To do so you play different rounds of golf to gain money to inprove yourself. This is a fun game but it can get boring if you play it for a long time in one setting. You really need to play it for a while then stop and then come back to it later when you get that ITCH. Overall I would recommend this game and I am glad I bought it.This is a good golf game. Not bad for being old!
Its a good game, with a not so steep learning curve. However, sometimes the game seems to mess up, especially on one skins game where there was a playoff for the last skin, and no joke I played 25 extra holes to determine the winner. Every time, the two players with lowest stroke count would tie, and we had to keep playing, even when I would purposely lose. this is the only glitch I encountered, besides some courses where it seemes impossible to win or sometimes on tee-off a mis-hit would occur for no reason at all. Overall, I give it a three since it isn't all that difficult and has some bugs.Its a good game, with a not so steep learning curve.
