    What the tube says....

    This product revived two old Hunter fans that were close to doing the dance of death. They have run well through the summer, and will be serviced again in the spring of 2016. Just what the fan doctor ordered...

    Fuel for the fans

    Hunter fans have to have Hunter oil. On the other hand, they'll run a long time on it.

    Expensive, however it is OEM oil

    Maybe most people don’t realize that the Hunter ceiling fans have an oil reservoir and the oil level should be checked periodically. I installed all of my Hunter fans 15 years ago so I decided to check the oil level in each one. I found that they each needed about 1/2 of a tube to get to 1/2” below the top of the reservoir. It surprised me. There are only a few places where you can purchase this Hunter OEM ceiling fan oil, and Home Depot has about the lowest price. Buying it is convenient from HD - they delivered it to my house with no shipping fee. I’m sure I could buy a generic oil which would work for my fan, but I wanted to be safe and get the OEM oil.

    I Have 3 HUNTER Original 2 Speed Ceiling Fans👍. So FAR, I’ve Hung 2 Of ‘Em On My SCREENED Back Porch😃. The Original HUNTER Fans Have A Small Hole On TOP Of The MOTOR Housing. THAT’S Where The Tube Of OIL Goes😉👍. The Bearings “RIDE” In The “Oil Bath”, Which Is Why They Run SO QUIETLY🤫.
