About this product

Product Information

Based on the popular 1980s cartoon series of the same name. Matthew Broderick plays the bumbling title character who, after being blown up in his car by the evil Dr. Claw, must become a guinea pig for an experimental program designed to create bionic police officers in order to survive. There he is endowed with 14,000 helpful gadgets by a beautiful scientist, such as a hand that doubles as a phone, giant spring-mounted legs, and a helicopter that pops out of his fedora. Gadget vows revenge on the evil Dr. Claw, but is more Inspector Closeau to really do much damage, so his daighter Penny and her trusty mutt make sure the good inspector gets a helping hand when he needs it. Fun for the whole family. Includes the bonus video "I'll Be Your Everything" by Youngstown.

    Inspector Gadget

    I love anything that has Rupert Everett in it. He is one of the most excellent actors that I have ever watched. He is so diverse and is able to give 100% plus in every performance - be it movies, television or theatre. His roles are also diverse. He can play a villan, a romantic womanizer, a gay man with a spin, a romantic hero. The only thing I disliked about this movie was that it did not have enough of Rupert Everett in it. I decided to buy it because it had Rupert Everett in it. I am a heterosexual female who enjoys excellent acting. With Rupert Everett I have never been disappointed.

    Millions of Jelly Beans Were Used!

    The children still enjoy this movie and watch it whenever they think of it. Matthew Broderick plays a security guard and gets blown up by Dr. Claw. A female scientist puts him back together utilizing various gadgets. A great Disney Movie!

    My grandkids from 14 thru 2 love this movie

    Funny, cute movie with lots of action and my older grandkids really love the "gadgets" AND his car. I think even kids whith more sophisticated tastes will enjoy this movie.
