Great monitor
I received the monitor and at first I was concerned the monitor would not connect to my HP laptop. The monitor has 2 HDMI ports, Mini Display port and display port. I was able to connect this monitor to the HDMI port without any problem. The monitor has a great image and the thin bezel is great. I use this monitor in the landscape orientation and another 22" Dell monitor in the portrait orientation. I have not fully optimized the all the settings available with this monitor yet but so far I love the look of the picture when I connected my ROKU box to it.I received the monitor and at first I was concerned the monitor would not connect to my HP laptop. Best PC monitor I've ever used
I'm a web designer and a avid gamer. I love this monitor. It is, by far, the best PC budget monitor I've ever worked with. Awesome Full HD definition, the color balance it's just perfect and the overall product construction it's both beautiful and functional. I especially love the borderless and really clean design I'm really happy with this purchase :D PS: if you buy one of these and need to connect via HDMI, remember to buy a separate HDMI cable because the monitor just comes with Mini-Display and USB cables.I'm a web designer and a avid gamer. Would Get 5 Stars Without Blackout Issues
Excellent design, quality. Picture beautiful, great deal of connection options. Deserving of 5 stars except -- when connected with HDMI or DisplayPort, monitor sometimes goes off for a second or two. Strange issue, did lot of research on this, and found other people have similar issues. Never found solution. I'll still keep monitor, love the adjustable height, etc... but if Dell could just fix that "blackout" issue somehow...Excellent design, quality. Picture beautiful, great deal of connection options. Great affordable ultrasharp
I am rating the picture 4 stars because it has a little less good viewing angle than the typical Ultrasharp, but still on par or better than most IPS panels. Only a premium (expensive) monitor would get 5 stars here. For the price, it is right. The low-star reviews for this product are misleading and the users are using HDMI port and not fully informed. This monitor's HDMI port is intended for hooking to a cable TV box or gaming console. It does have power-save issues through HDMI, but that is just a quirk of the technology, no fault of this monitor. The displayport (DP) connections are the best and easiest way to go, and the monitor comes with the expensive DP cables INCLUDED! Worst case, you'll have to adapt DVI to DP, but that's an easily found adapter. Anyway, it has a VERY ... Exactly what I needed..
This U2414H monitor check all the boxes for my needs.. excellent connectivity with 2 HDMI ports, multiple USB, Mini Display port etc.... The adjustable height is also convenient and image quality is 1080p very good display...
