    Quick, Convenient Temperature Checker

    I'm very pleased with this infrared thermometer. Be sure to follow the instructions to calibrate it after inserting the batteries (2 AA). Don't neglect to let it sit at your room temperature for 15 minutes before calibration. I was too eager the first time, and followed the calibration procedure after only about 5 minutes. I got it to match the temperature of my digital, oral thermometer, but it was drastically different when I used it after half an hour. I re-calibrated it, and since then it has been consistently accurate. I can reassure myself that I haven't developed a fever quickly and easily at any time, and I don't have to wash it after each use. The last time I was at a hospital, the admissions person was using....."TA DA" a Berrcom JXB-178 to check peoples' temperature. It's good ...

    I didn't have the experience of knowing other people that have these type of thernometors, ,no touch.

    It work be great if I didn't have to calibrate the different numbers, etc. Calibrate to get correct numbers, not varied by aiming at 3 parts of forehead. Isn't exact. when you check it against other thermometers. It's "about" right, hardly exact as expected. They make it all work to set up correctly, when it could have come more ready to use. The recommendation were all great. so I thought I was getting something ready to use right out of the box.

    great product for the price!

    It is very easy to use, light weight, and accurate. Allows F or C temperature readings, can measure a person's temperature, the air temperature, or a surface temperature - depending on the mode it is set on. It also holds a history of the past 10 recordings. I have only used it for a week (and this is a great tool during the covid epidemic) - so I can't vouch for the long term capability... but I see no reason to suspect that it will fail. I am extremely pleased with this product, and at the price - you cannot beat the overall value!

    Accurate and reliable. Easy to use. 3 modes. Can check body temperature using forehead, room temperature and surface of water or any other object.I have checked it against other things that measure and it is very precise. Photo shows measuring water temperature in aquarium. Agrees with digital internal thermometer! Main reason for purchase but also nice to know body and roomtemperature. Awesome instrument.
