The seller was extremely helpful in answering my questions with quick replies. These do fit the VX-8DR factory charging station and the first battery seems to be charging properly now. The fit of these high-capacity batteries is a bit loose in the VX-8DR but is easily fixed with some 3M 1.5mm - 2mm sticky cushion pad or the loop side of Velcro Brand Industrial Strength tape. These are meant to fit a wider range of radios, so I can't take away stars for a looser fit. Highly recommended!
