    Great for low light. Not for sky photography.

    For low light photography requiring a wide angle lens, this is great. Canon lenses are solid. However, at the periphery, there is both geometric and chromatic aberration. For general purpose use, it is not noticeable, however, for night sky photographs, you readily see the distortion in the periphery.

    My first true wide lens

    Great in low light, surprisingly good price, sharp (especcially when stopped down), and a great focus ring. If you don't have a wide angle lens and looking to pick one up for a good price and large aperture, look no further.

    Great wide angle!

    Great for landscape photography, and some times film. Don't get too close when shooting people though, not everyone looks good on 20mm.
