It doesn't have a built-in swivel, so wherever you place it on a vent it will face straight backwards. I shaved the thickness of my protector by about 1.5mm and removed the built-in padding inside the side clamps.

The plastic build is kind of thin and I wouldn’t consider this heavy duty. I bought this because of the retention system. It clips very securely to the vent. Other phone vent mount would slip off after braking hard or accelerating hard.
