Not suitable for transport
The closure was fine, but the padding was only on one side and very thin. Firearm would rattle around in box. Had to add my own foam padding to securely transport firearm.

Good Pistol safe - needs more foam.
Its a good reasonably strong pistol safe, however am surprised it doesn't come with foam on the top part it only has the foam on the bottom. I had to make my own foam for the top. other than that price was reasonable

Just what I need.
The box fit under the front seat and I am able to secure it with the cable and able to access it easily if needed. It will not prevent thefts but it will prevent someone from accessing the weapon immediately and slow down a theft. I use it for places I can't take my weapon inside with me. For the money and construction of box. It's worth it to have. Also we I leave car at the airport I lock it in the trunk around my spare tire.

Better then expected for the low price. The fit and finish is quite good. Will need to add more padding if you plan to drive around with it in your trunk.
