Shipping was reasonable and fast. The noise filter unit looks solid but was a little bit bigger than I thought it would be. As long as it works, I am happy

    Eliminates alternator whine

Did the trick eliminating alternator whine. Instructions were very basic. I installed on the yellow switched power line and it worked fine. Before installing, I had tried everything to eliminate possible ground loops (most importantly ensuring a good ground for the radio and amp), but the whine was still noticable. After install, I can only hear it faintly with the stereo sound off.

  • Good product and good value

I had excessive noise in my audio system after installing a lot of aftermarket audio equipment. I have been in the automotive industry as a mechanic and also installed car audio products professionally for years. I rewired grounds from batter to block and can, on the amps and head unit, grounded them all in one location, ran jumpers everywhere, replaced RCA cables with very high quality cables, shielded power wires and even went so far as checking charging system for AC leakage and nothing worked. I ordered these modules and installed one on the power lines to my head unit with the accessory isolated by a rely and a 2nd module on the power wire feeding my 4 channel amp again with the remote wire isolated by a relay and the noise is present for about 5 seconds at power up but then the ...

  • Awesome Filter

I purchased a brand new very high quality wireless 4 channel rf transmitter and headset combo. The combo has a range of 300 feet. The headsets picked up stray voltage hums from ceiling fans and any other large electrical components that I walked near. Next I wired the transmitter in my vehicle with the 12 volt filter installed. The music transmited from the source in my car through the transmitter to the headsets is now crystal clear with no hums. I walked away from the vehicle up the driveway to the house with the headsets on and the transmitter in the car. Still crystal clear sound. I walked inside the house closed the door and walked over to the ceiling fan with the headsets on and the transmitter outside in the car. The sound remained clear even when I walked up to the ceiling fan. ...

  • Great Value

I was experiencing some really annoying loud alternator whine coming through an aftermarket head unit. It did not completely resolve it,but I would say 90-95% is gone. That noise is barely noticeable now. It is great value. At this price point, what more could you ask for? More than satisfied with the result.

  • Didnt cut out sound or just very little

Was pretty sure I found a solid ground connection but still hear winning noise from the speakers and crackling/popping noise. May be too cheaply made to handle the noise my car produce. Will have to find a higher quality luckly this unit price was really cheap for testing purpose.
