    nice truss rod cover. Fits right.

    fit absolutely perfect. Nice quality. I just don't understand why Gibson just didn't put this truss cover on my special in the first place. I love it.

    Rip off

    I bought this as a replacement truss rod cover for almost $20. It was blemished from the factory as it had a large bump near the center. If I’m paying this much for a piece of plastic that literally costs cents to produce, I expect it to be near perfect. Gibson is garbage these days. I’d just play with the cover off if I could go back and save the green. Or maybe just go with a better brand or an old Gibson from the days when quality meant something.
