They were thick and warm but the feel of the material was like not soft and smooth, when I ran my fingers along to see if they were soft they felt slightly rough so if you have a child with sensory difficulties and where the material is important to them, I wouldn't buy them. The ribbons ones were much nicer feel so I would recommend those if they are sensitive children. Warmth wise tho, they are lovely and thic
