I've been looking for a reasonably priced 13.3 inch laptop for a long time. This one fits the bill perfectly. The 13.3 inch screen is the perfect size. I have a 11.6 inch Samsung Chromebook but the screen is a bit too small for me. I tried a 12.5 inch Chromebook Flip, but it was still a bit too small. Even better the Lenovo Chromebook 13 costs at least $700 less than an Ultrabook, Surface or Macbook with 13.3 inch screen. I'm not interested in paying a 'Premium' price. Build quality is excellent, much more solid that my Samsung 2012 Chromebook. The keyboard has full size keys and feels like a REAL keyboard. It's reasonably fast with a dual core 1.6ghz celeron and 4gb of RAM. The charger is small and light. Battery life is better than the Samsung. It doesn't quite boot as fast as the Samsung and it's not Fanless. The 180 degree screen is a plus. No touchscreen, but Android apps for ChromeOS aren't ready for 'Prime Time' anyway. My only complaint is the speakers could be a bit better. I got the Lenovo Chromebook 13 refurbished on eBay. The Jungle Place wouldn't ship to my APO/FPO/DPO address, but this seller would. I wasn’t sure whether to buy or not. I received it in three days, the setup was simple, speed unbelievable, the top and bottom, I’ll rate grade A, which means no scratches. Finding manuals about Google Chrome is difficult, really no YouTube tutorial on operation. Did figure it out. If you look at what a new Pixelbook cost, and what your paying, can’t go wrong. Being a MAC & PC owner, doing everything Web base now makes sense. By the way internet is super fast.

overall, looks great, very light, performance is good! but when you touch the touch pad, it always has noise and I feel it will sometime break up soon. I'm a heavy MacBook Pro user. This ThinkPad is relatively less designed. But it's cheap. At the end, I hope it is reliable as same as my Macbook Pro or my son's Macbook Air. My wife will use this Thinkpad.

I started using a borrowed Chromebook occasionally, usually to quickly look up something on the web when I wanted a full page or tabs that were awkward on my phone. What I liked was that I could flip it open and go. I have a Macbook and a Dell Latitude that are dedicated for projects, and it was slower to bring those out of sleep and load up a browser. The Chromebook is just the thing for the job, so I decided to get one. This particular model has twice the RAM and storage of the one I borrowed, and a faster processor. Other than the power supply, I don't have anything that plugs into the USB-C ports, but fortunately it has a couple legacy USB ports for the things I do have. It performs well, as I am a heavy tab user, and isn't prone to getting bogged down like a basic model. It's fairly light, battery life is decent, though I don't always believe the expected time on the battery icon, I have the AC adapter close at hand and have not brought it out on the road. The app store has a decent selection, and a few surprises. There are decent options for photo editing and writing, and integration with Google services. I have found nothing decent for video editing or web building, other than going online to do that. That is more of a platform review than this particular model. Now here's the neat surprise. I have a RTL-SDR dongle, which is a device that can receive radio signal like FM, and also aviation and police scanning. I found an app that can support that, and was very pleased as I didn't expect to.Read full review

Bought this for my college freshman. She loved the good size and really light weight of this laptop. Battery life is adequate, but she does have to charge it before classes because she uses it to take class notes. She loves the feel of the keyboard as well.
