    Works great for me !!!

    Works very well when the cast iron is correctly prepped. You need to "V" cut the cast iron that is to be welded and then preheat the cast iron piece for the best weld. On small cast iron pieces I enclose them in a pan of sand in a regular house oven at the hottest temperature for 1 hour and that is usually sufficient for a good weld. These rods worked very well for me with a clean chip off of the flux coating and a good weld bead of the Nickel-55 rod. Try them, you will really like them. Aloha

    Spendy rods, works well

    I’m a home gamer hack but these rods did a really nice job shoring up the cast blade guide on a horizontal bandsaw I had to repair
