    I have a 46re trans in my 99 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2L

    First off it is a higher quality part then the junk oem reverse servo. Just a quick guide for you dyi guys that may take this on yourself. 1st drain ATF from trans pan then unbolt pan from trans case. Now begin inspecting Tran pan and magnet for chunks of metal. Usually there is broken pieces of you're servo on the. Bottom of the pan it won't stick to the magnet because it is aluminium. Now that you did that remove valve body be very careful only un do the 10 bolts that are around perimeter of valve body. Take drive shaft off of rear diff set aside. Now there are about 8 11mm bolts holding the tailshaft on to the main case take those out and slowly wiggle and jiggle the tail over drive unit as you pull also until it comes out now there is going to be a shim in there on the front of the ...

    Fixed reverse in an A-727!

    Solid build quality. Could not believe the improvement over the stock piston. Had to purchase an extra seal as I tried using feeler gauges as shims to install the first time, which caused the seal to fold over once in the snap ring groove of the transmission case. Using a piston ring compressor, it went in without a hitch. An hour later, I have reverse back! Picture shows the worn area in the case from the old piston. The new piston rides above this area.

    L/R Servo for TF727

    Highly recommended, good value and excellent replacement for the original Servo. If your installing a TF-2 shift kit together with this Servo you’ll need to reduce the thickness of the TransGo Spacer by approx .015” to fit the Circlip. Also delete the inner cushion spring- no longer needed.

    Steel instead on Al, great!

    I rebuilt by myself my 1999 46RE tranny and I replaced the original aluminium reverse servo with this kit. This kit is a little more difficult to put in place due to its dimension. You have to "help" the seals to go in place, a little tricky, but it fits perfectly and it works great.
