    It's a quality gas cap...

    I got a CEL with associated loss of cruise control whole on a long road trip, fortunately stopping and retightening the gas cap fixed it. Since it was a 2005 Legacy I figured it was time to replace it. Only downside is it didn't come with a new retaining clip. On a 2005, the existing clip can be removed with a screwdriver if you hold the outer part of the clip and unscrew the center.

    Fixed the Check Engine issue.

    OEM gas cap

    Works great! I was getting an error code and tracked it down to the gas cap. No errors now. Need a special tool for the screw to attach the tether to the gas door.
