Kit was easy to install in 2015 Smart. Radio trim piece finish is dull compared to original. Instructions state that side brackets install with stereo provided bolts. My factory stereo & my new stereo did not come with the four M5X20 Phillips bolts I needed. A trip to hardware store cost $0.75. Kit harness not needed. Plug & Play even though some wire colors differ. Read many Smart Car owners who had wiring configuration issues because Smart had revised wiring harness pin locations & colors.

Metra FM antenna
Ground cable is very short, so I soldered up the hot/ground of this antenna to those of the cigarette lighter using additional wires— I used one end of a Y-splitter so that there is still one connector left for something else. I now get much much better FM reception than what I had been getting from my stock (Daimler) antenna. I think that the question of how well this will work for you is related to how well your existing antenna works. My old one was just horrible. I attached the antenna to the top of inside of the passenger side of the windshield about an inch from the car frame.
