    Wiring then to dealer

    I recently purchased this kit for my 2012 Cherokee..plugged right in..then didn't work..had to take my 2012 Cherokee to the dealer for them to go into the PCM and open the signal for the trailer wiring to work..Cost was $120.00.. this plug works great now with the signal being passed through..I'm happy now..

    Good product. Fitment must be considered.

    When purchasing this plug adapter make sure your tow bar has clearance for the back of the 7 point plug. Mine didn't. I made it work, but the plug back sticks out quite far. I would consider this before purchasing. Otherwise, great deal.
