They arrived with one of them bearing a noticeable dent in the grill. I pulled it out. After attaching the speak-on cables, they won't twist back apart, and that sux. Here's what I know: they advertise steel corner protectors, but they are now plastic. They advertise 80oz magnets for deep lows, but they are now 40oz. All of which, leaves me to wonder what else they changed but didn't say. As for sound, I bought them because they were the only ones I could find, short of a thousand dollar pair, that could hold the watts my mixer throws out. Since they are rated at 750 watts RMS (Root Mean Square,) I knew they could handle my 1600 total watts, which is 800 watts x2 speakers rated at 4 ohms resistance. I'm still over by 100 watts, or 50 watts per speaker, but there's no way I'm worried about it because I can't get past 65% total volume without causing a meltdown in my ears. These things are loud, and can really put it out there. They are large venue speakers made for big watts. Short of low end presence (because of the smaller magnets,) they sound great and are more geared more towards those mids to highs. Nothing a sub-woofer won't cure. Just remember to match your amp's ohms to the speakers ohms, and you'll be okay. In other words: it's safe to run a 4 ohm amp into 8 ohm speakers, but not visa-versa because your amp will overheat trying to keep up and will suffer damage as a result. And oh yeah: I went with large 12 gauge speak-on cables (instead of the usual 14 or 16 gauge) to eliminate another source of sound killing resistance. I may not need it, but still I want everything my system can give me. They look good, and are not all that heavy (39 lbs.) just big so make sure you have enough space for them because you'll need it. It took me a while to figure out how to correctly mix these speakers because of feedback. Still, I wound't trade them in. For me, they are just what the doctor ordered. And as it is that my mixer has four 1/4" speaker outlets, I now use my old ones as floor monitors.Read full review

These Pa 15 inch speakers are awesome to say the least. I am running a 200 watt Mic mixing amp and I am totally blow away with the very deep bass and all the Imaging for the Horn mid rang to the 4 tweeters for real separation and the vocals punch right out and You get cement shaking Bass at about 1/4 of the way turned up. I cant stand it above that. So much bass. These easily compare to Peaveys at 1/4 the price and are worth every penny. Save Yourself some real money and buy a set of these. You cant go wrong, S Thompson, Oregon

Great price and power handling capability to boot. I'm very pleased with performance of these speakers and the construction. They can handle a lot of volume and the clarity is extremely good, especially the bass frequencies. I don't think you can go wrong with these units, especially at their price and the performance you receive.
