Mix guajillo adobo seasoning with cider vinegar & honey for a shrimp marinade or stir into sour cream for a tasty dip. Deep red guajillo peppers blended with roasted tomato adobo sauce.
Absolutely love the roasted flavor in this sauce. They are small pkgs, and not particularly cost effective, but really nice to have on hand for a quick, authentic tasting mild green chili sauce. I've made enchiladas with it, and simmered some left over meat in it - Really enjoy it.
A great sauce all on its own, also a wonderful base or addition to posole, soups, stews. It is very rich. I normally add water or broth while cooking with it. I have made my own green enchilada sauce from the step of "first you grow the tomatillos..." and I find the Frontera sauce every bit as satisfying.
