    Big Storage in Little S.S. Drive

    Bought to replace a conventional external usb drive....which failed. Love everything about this Samsung S.S. drive, so far. It is faster and very small. Purpose served is a backup drive attached to laptop. Do not have hard empiricle data, but impression is much faster than the replaced drive. Would definitely buy again....only time and experience will prove durability and reliability.

    it's wise to back up your data and external hard disk drives are prone to failure, so far solid state memory has proved reliable for me, but expensive and hard to get. i have a couple ot T5s and a T7 which i run some software from. nothing went wrong yet......

    Big things DO come in small packages

    Purchased this SSD exclusively for Time Machine backups on my iMac. After reading countless reviews on various sites, I followed their recommendations. I deleted all of the Samsung software by reformatting the drive to Mac OS Extended (Journaled, Encrypted). The drive automatically backs up every hour on the hour and has performed flawlessly. The drive is perfect for taking with you because it will fit into any pocket with room to spare. The combination of SSD plus USB 3 make it a speed demon. Small size, lightning fast, and plenty of storage capacity. What more can you ask? Oh yeah, the price. That's great too. I'm looking to purchase another in the future.
