    The zoom lens to get for your Canon M camera.

    The 55-200 upon first lifting it looks cheap and not very good. It has a plastic feel and a plastic mount. Once you mount it to your Canon M mount camera (M 6 II) in my case it looks very good. It is relatively small and modern in comparison to the Canon EFS 50-250. It is sharper than the EFS 250, especially in the center. Keep your ISO as low as possible and make ajustments with your shutter speed to control incoming light. This will keep the lens at it's sharpist. It works well with the 32mm M6 Mark II so I am sure ir will work extremely well with the M50. The focus dial and the zoom dial operate smoothly.

    Canon EF-M 55-200mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM Lens great telephoto for travel with your M camera

    This is a nIce, compact, lightweight, portable telephoto lens for Canon M series. Small enough to take with me in my travel backpack with my camera. It's autofocus is sufficiently responsive, although perhaps not as fast as the full-size EF lenses, but this lens is a great compromise especially for having at least some telephoto capability while traveling light. Canon did a great job with this one.

    Excellent Lens

    This lens is light weight and fits the Canon M6 very well. With this combination, the image quality is excellent. Very pleased with the quality of the lens. Although, the lens does not come with a lens hood, was disappointed that I had to buy a lens hood separately.
