    After installing the Ecobee app on my ph...

    After installing the Ecobee app on my phone, the Ecobee Enhanced thermostat was very easy to install, even included a small built in level in the base. The thermostat also immediately connected to the house WiFi by holding my iPhone next to it when asked. Great display with large number for the temperature. It also uses WiFi to show outside temp and forecast weather conditions. Programming the schedules took 15mins. It has been running in the heat mode for a day now with no problems.

    Good unit, and install problems had less to do with thermostat and more to do with poor house wiring.

    Works very well with my smartphones (iPhone S6 Max and iPhone 11 Pro Max). Has a lot of nice display features, such as the ability (when it's WiFi connected) to give a 4-day weather forecast onscreen. It would be nice if the Amazon Alexa app were a little easier to use. But these days, everybody's apps are pretty awful -- other than those for simple devices such as on-off switches. I had to mess about with the power transformer because my HVAC system is old enough that the builder didn't wire the house properly for a more modern system. That was a pain, but I'm glad that at least the transformer was included and I didn't have to be pulling wire through my drywall just to make this unit run. Including the base fascia was a nice extra touch, since my house is old enough that this is ...

    Works well once set up and easy to use.

    Works great. There was some time on the phone with ecobee to determine what type of auxiliary equipment was included to select the correct settings with our furnace for the app so we could complete set-up. Once it was set-up we have not had any issues.
