    Maximus IV gene z/gen 3

    Bought this board as parts only/repair (had 4-5 bent CPU socket pins and a couple bent gpio pins), bent all pins back to original position and the board posted. Put it in my tower to replace my ASRock h61m-ge and stress tested it. It's been about a week and I'm very pleased with this board so far. Upgraded to this board primarily for usb3.0 and sata 6gbs to take full advantage of my SSD and front panel usb3.0 ports and I'm glad I did. For a 5-6 yr old board it's quick and full of performance features (onboard diagnostics, cmos reset button, power/reset button on board). Tons of overclocking tools (though I won't be using them because it's an older, used board and I don't know it's history, so I don't want to push it.) As long as this board holds out I'll hang on to it until I upgrade to ...
