A great crossbow broadhead.
This has been my go to crossbow broadhead, since switching to the crossbow. It is a mechanical broadhead that truely flies exactly like the same weight field point. I have harvested three whitetails with this broadhead, and the results on all three were exactly the same.............they only went 30 yards, and bled out. Easy tracking and recovery. NAP SPITFIRE mechanical broadhead 125 grain
I have been using these since mecha6nical broadheads have been legal in Ohio. They fly just like a field point. The wind doesnt make them rise up or drop like fixed blade broadheads. and the blades are all folded foreward so no sharp exposed edges while handling. They wont open when you fire them, they stay closed until they hit the deer or whatever. Then they are forced to open out and back as they penetrate..they go right through the deer and will cut through ribs no problem. I have never had one fail me ever and i never practice with my actual broadheads. After i shoot a deer, i replace the broadhead because the little grooves the blades lay in are full of hair or meat or dirt after it hits the ground. I use 125 grain field points for practice.
