Elegant design and versatile functionality
This clock radio fits all of my requirements but one (more about that later). It takes up little bedside table space; it's surprisingly elegant looking (the pictures don't do it justice); and the LED display shines through the cloth surface. The control buttons are all on top, and are backlit to the same brightness as the display. You can use the snooze button to cycle through 5 display brightness settings, including turning all lighted elements off (it doesn't even look like a clock radio at that setting). It has a 3.5mm audio input jack as well as Bluetooth connectivity, plus a USB charging port. The sound quality isn't hi-fi, but it's clear and full range, and the volume can go much louder than I'm willing to set it. This should satisfy anyone's alarm volume requirement. Each alarm can be set independently of the radio in terms of volume and sound source (radio, buzzer, aux audio, Bluetooth). You can also specify weekday, weekend, or both for each alarm. The battery backup uses standard AA batteries. Operating the iBT232 has a bit of a learning curve, but I got used to the system quickly. My only disappointment is that it has only two alarms, but I'm learning to work with that. I don't think I could have found a better clock radio for my purposes.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
