    No issues. Nice portable external bluray drive.

    Worked right away with Windows and Linux. Good speed. Portable. The fact that it is USB 2.0 does not impact transfer speeds. My only concern is replacing the cable should it get lost as it needs a dual USB connector.

    Okay Blu-ray / DVD / CD External USB Unit

    People complain about it skipping, but mine has worked fine. Its dual layer DVD burning can be hit or miss. Most of these units on eBay are listed as new ... but they're actually open box or under 1 year use refurbished (which technically can be sold as new). The do come with with Windows Cyberlink DVD software from most sellers, but the software is outdated and limited function OEM versions. You'll still need to purchase better blu-ray software. As with anything on eBay, you dont always get what you pay for so check if the seller takes returns if you get one of these that are a lemon.

    You do a lot of traveling this is a great product for Blu-ray Disc& 3D movies too for your laptop. I would buy another one in a heartbeat which I plan to just in case the Blu-ray player malfunctions. So far I am extremely satisfied Thank you

    Great Product

    The LG BP50NB40 Blu-ray player is extremely easy to install and works great every time. We plug it into desktops and laptops that aren't equipped with blu-ray drives and can watch blu-ray movies, etc. I would highly recommend this product.

    Sleek, slender, stylish and very versatile.

    This external blu-ray drive is excellent for how I intend to use it. At the width of a fingernail, it is amazing how this amount of technology can fit into something so slender. In fact, I forget it's even there on my desk because it just blends in with the blackened finish. Very little effort goes into setting it up: Just plug the 2 USB cables into your ports and the special end into the drive itself. It's excellent and compatible for use with a PS3 emulator so I can enjoy my old games without having to drag my PS3 out of storage. If you need an external blu-ray drive for use with a laptop or a desktop, you cannot go wrong with this one.
